This powerhouse delivers 305 hp and 495 lb-ft of peak torque and is now offered on the Z71 for the first time.
The 5.3L gas V-8 remains the standard engine for most trim levels with Dynamic Fuel Management that saves at the pump while still pushing 255 horses. The High Country gets a 6.2L V-8 as standard delivering 420 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque. This engine is also available on other models as an extra.
