Do you wish you and your significant other could spend more time having fun together? Is the cost of dates keeping you at home? If so, keep reading to discover some of the top free or cheap things to do in Davison, MI. Then, climb in your 2023 Chevy Silverado and check one out.

1. Hiking Black Creek Nature Trail

Hiking Black Creek Nature Trail at Jack Abernathy Regional Park at 402 Dayton St. is one of the best things to do in Davison. This trail is 6.4 miles out and back, and it is considered easy despite its distance because there is a mere 55-foot elevation gain you must contend with.

One of the best things about this trail is that it is wheelchair-friendly, so you should have no trouble pushing a stroller down some or all of it. This is also a pet-friendly trail; you are welcome to walk your pup as long as they are on a leash. Additionally, due to the significant tree cover and passing by the lake and creek, you will love this trail as a birder.

2. Enjoying the Davison Area Dog Park

If you and your partner have a dog, you have to check out Davison Area Dog Park at 1285 N Gale Rd. This park is divided into four sections. Two sections are to allow for one-on-one training for your pup. Two sections are large swaths of green space for your dogs to romp around with dogs of a similar size.

In the section for large dogs, there is agility equipment, which provides a great opportunity for your dog to be mentally and physically stimulated. Additionally, there are trails that you can walk your dogs down. Just make sure you bring water for your dog if they won’t drink from the communal water fountain.

3. Playing at Card Table Republic

Finally, we recommend playing at Card Table Republic at 8427 Davison Road. Open seven days per week, this board game lounge offers board game play for just $5. You can play a favorite board game from your childhood with your family or friends, or you can learn to play a new game.

If you are a fan of Pokémon, you should join the league that meets at 12:30 on Saturdays. You can also rent a board game for only $5 pre-tax per day.
