The Chevy Trailblazer has been completely redesigned for 2021. This Chevy SUV is bold and spacious, with the latest technology. The Chevy Trailblazer offers a bit more interior room and length. You get two rows of seating for five and up to 54.4 cubic feet of cargo space as well as cargo length of 8.5 ft. Plus the Cargo Management System offers loads of configurable options, including a split flat-fold second row. A hands-free liftgate is available.
The Buick Encore GX comes in at 50.2 cubic feet of cargo space. You do get a reconfigurable cargo floor that gives you 2.7 inches of additional storage room.
Performance
The Chevy Trailblazer comes with a standard 1.2-liter Turbo engine that produces 137 horsepower. There’s also an available 1.3-liter Turbo engine that boosts you up to 155 horsepower and 174 lb-ft of torque. All but the Base trim are offered with either Front-wheel drive (FWD) or All-wheel drive (AWD), which offers multiple drive modes including Normal, AWD (Snow on FWD), and Sport.
The Buick Encore GX comes with the same engine options so the output is similar. This model is also available in Front-wheel drive or Intelligent All-wheel drive (i-AWD).
Both models have similar fuel efficiency, with the Chevy Trailblazer edging out the Buick Encore GX, 29 Combined MPGs versus 28 Combined MPGs.
